I'm on a roll!!
I am, I am! If I keep this up, I might be able to finish my hp_yule_balls fic either tomorrow or Saturday!

Gosh, it feels so good to just let the story flow through you instead of having to constantly struggle to get a few hundred words down. Who needs chocolate? *is on fic high*

Now, my progress, let me show it to you: yesterday, I wrote 3.233 words. Today, I got down even more, 4.921 words! And the really great thing about this is, I like what I've done! What's even better, I not only added a lot of words to the count but actually managed to move the plot forwards. Best, we're getting closer to the actual smut!

I'm very happy and also very hungry, so I shall now turn off the computer and eat something.

Oh, btw, fic now stands at 21k words and will end up 30k again. And because I'm feeling so good, I'm not going to worry about boring my readers to tears before we get to the smut.

Now, food!

	Did you bitch again? I had to break down and do that yesterday so I could get some words going on my fic. 1400-ish, but it didn't really move my plot forward. (Reply to this) (Thread)

Oh, I bitched all Tuesday, mostly at myself for being a lazy sh***, and when I sat down on Wednesday, I was determined to get the stupid fic forwards. Sometimes, being determined helps. (Think I might be scaring the muse. *g*)

Isn't it weird when you write so many words without the plot moving forwards? I always a bit worried I'm doing something wrong. As though I was just chattering, even if the words written describe my characters' emotions or are important bits of dialogue.

I'll keep my fingers crossed you manage to finish all your fics on time. *crosses fingers*

	Hee, I'm actually pretty well ahead on mine. Thankfully. I should finish the one I'm working on tonight (it just needs all new added smut :P) and then tomorrow I'll start on Harry Holidays. This is why I can never sign up for Nano. Fest season argh! (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)

Meh. This is the third year that I was thinking about trying NaNo. But in 2007, I was in New Zealand and busy with finals. Last year, I was writing my dissertation. This year I planned to be done with fanfiction by the end of October, do NaNo, and then Yuletide in December. *huffs* So much for that.

Though I'm determined to still do Yuletide. If only because I've got four stories that I really, really want to read. ;)
